BEIJING-(IDB) : According to the Chinese edition of the PLA Daily, the PLAAF commissioned a new helicopter dadui on July 3rd. While this Dahui is new (in accordance with PLA's lexicon) its core staff officers and personnel were drawn from a rapid reaction unit that participated in the 2008 earthquake relief work, provided security to the 2008 Summer Olympic and the Shanghai World Expo. It was took part in the 2009 National Day Parade flyby.
